Longstanding Texas-Based Healthcare Investment Company Announces Planned Leadership Succession

DALLAS (September 3, 2024) – HealthCap Partners, LLC (“HealthCap”), an investment company specializing in creative capital solutions for the healthcare industry, today announced that Nicole C. Matthews has been promoted to President, effective October 1, 2024. Mrs. Matthews is a 24-year veteran of HealthCap and its predecessor company, The Cirrus Group, LLC, which she originally joined in 2000 and has most recently served as Senior Vice President since 2013. At the same time, Chris S. Jackson, who has served as Managing Partner of the company since 2015, will step down to pursue outside interests while remaining a strategic advisor to the company for the foreseeable future. Additionally, Jason K. Dodd, who has served on the Board and in various operating roles over the years, will rejoin HealthCap as an active Partner. As a result, HealthCap clients, investors and stakeholders will benefit from a seamless leadership transition and continuity of management.
